I have chosen this album cover to research because we would like to do something similar to this. This album cover links to Birdys genre, with the pale colours and simple use of negative space, it is a very soft photograph, and explains a lot about her music. To me this shows her music is very personal and simple. Birdys music videos also have these connotations, which is why so many people enjoy watching her videos.
I love this album cover of Adele, simply because it doesnt give too much away about her music, which would make you want to buy the album to find out. Plus it is black and white which does show sohpistication, and how serious this album could mean to her.
This album cover is good because it gives you a clear view of who the artist is, it is incredibly simple with a blank background ensuring all the focus is on her. The font is also interesting because the colours work within the colour scheme on the album and it isnt busy. Plus the artist looks natural, not wearing a lot of make up and eccentric clothes, which i think works for this artist and will for ours.
